MyPo!nt Festival will take place in Centrum Kultury Podgórza (CKP) in the heart of Podgórze district - address: ul. Sokolska 13. The building is located near the city center, right next door to Kazimierz district - providing excellent access to accommodation and catering facilities.

The CKP building is a multi-story building, and the festival will take place on the ground floor, the first floor, and the basement. Access to the ground floor is via a ramp, and the building includes an accessible restroom. Access to other floors is via stairs only. 

Participation is completely free of charge, as the festival is financed from European Funds.

Public transport

Krakow has trams and buses. The nearest tram stop to the CKP is "Korona." Lines serving the stop are 3, 8, 9, 10, 13, 17, 20, and 49. Important: Not every vehicle in Krakow has a ticket machine, and if it does, payment can only be made by card or cash, so you never know what you'll find. 

Getting to the Venue from Krakow Główny (the city's main station, closest to the festival)

From the "Dworzec Główny Tunel" stop, take tram number 17 (underground stop)

From the "Teatr Słowackiego" stop, take tram number 8 (about a 5-minute walk from the station)

Getting to the city center from the airport

Train - there's a train station (Kraków Lotnisko) next to the Kraków airport. This is the fastest and cheapest way to get to the city – straight to the main station. A ticket for this route costs 20 PLN at the standard price.

Bus - Buses 209 and 300 depart from the airport. The first will take you to Salwator, the second to Rondo Grunwaldzkie, a transfer hub where trams run to the city center. 

Apps that make travel easier:

Jak dojadę - contains up-to-date timetables and a journey planner, and also allows you to purchase tickets for public transport and regional trains.

CzyNaCzas a website that tracks buses and trams in real time, allowing you to check how far your journey is and whether there are any delays. 

Taxi

There are plenty of taxi companies in Krakow, as well as two main apps for ordering taxi:

• Icar Taxi - a budget-friendly company with an app, and some of its cars accept card payments. Phone number: +48 12 653 55 55

• Mega Taxi - a phone-based service, also has an app. Phone number: 124 124 124

• Uber - a taxi ordering app

• Bolt - a taxi ordering app

Breakfest

We’ll be organazing morning picnic on Saturday and Sunday in the venue’s garden. You'll find there coffee, tea, cookies, and oatmeal provided by the organizers. We encourage you to bring some other food to share.

The most budget-friendly option is Lajkonik cafes – a local brand. One of them is located right next to the CKP. You can buy coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed juices there, as well as pastries, sandwiches, salads, and toasted sandwiches. 

If you prefer a takeaway breakfast, it's worth to check out Buczek or Awiteks, where you can buy baked goods at affordable prices. 

Another option are local cafes – most are found in the Kazimierz district, across the river from the CKP. However, prices in Krakow are quite high; a breakfast with coffee will cost around 50 PLN per person.

Lunch and dinner

Around CKP there are plenty of restaurants, bars and street-food. We recommend especially:

Mazaya - one of the cheapest options, serves vegetarian dish from middle east

Miso place - miso and poke bowls

Kebab - the fastest option

Ogniem i mieczem - restaurant with smooth climat next to CKP

Van groch - vegan bistro

It's best to look for accommodation in Krakow on Booking.com or Airbnb. There are plenty of options within different price ranges in the districts surrounding the CKP. If you want to be closer to the city center, Kazimierz is the best option, as it's a slightly quieter district than the Old Town. However, if peace and quiet are your primary priorities, we recommend accommodation in the south of the Vistula River (e.g., Podgórze).

Party after both festival days will take place in Club “Zoo”, queer place in Kraków near to CKP (around 10 minutes walk), address: Józefa 6/1 P.

With our festival behind the door let's take some time to explore the city that is hosting MyPo!Nt. Join us for a city tour, to discover legends stories and fun facts about the old town of Krakow. We will meet at 11:00 In front of the statue of Nicolaus Copernicus (sharing the square with Jagiellonian University Collegium Novum)  for a guided tour, through   the eyes of an expat living here for multiple years!

Europe4Youth invite all of you for an afternoon to discover Krakow not only as a city with its history, but as a city to be lived, enjoyed and discovered through the eyes of those that live in it!

Whats the best bar to try out local drinks? What about the best restaurant? What do people do to enjoy their free time? If you are curious about where to find nice polish food or you've never been to Karaoke before, this is your chance to learn more about it through a guided tour!

Following that, we will have some time to enjoy the city together, looking forward to meet all of you in front of the St. Mary’s Basilica at 19:00!

The event will have third-party liability insurance, and a basic first aid kit will be available at reception. Participation in the event is restricted to individuals over 18 years of age; the organizer is not responsible for the safety of participants outside the event area.
