Festival Regulations

§1. General Information

  1. The My Po!nt Larp Festival (hereinafter referred to as the “Festival”) takes place in Kraków on 22–24 May 2026. 
  2. The Festival is organized by the Europe4Youth Association, with volunteers and partners acting as co-organizers. 
  3. The Festival takes place at the Podgórze Culture Centre, Sokolska 11, Kraków.trum Kultury Podgórza, Sokolska 11, Kraków.
  4. The Festival is bilingual. Events are held in Polish and English.
  5. The Festival is co-funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme.

§2. Participation

  1. Participation in the Festival is possible in the following roles:
    • volunteer co-organizers, including volunteers within the European Solidarity Corps programme;
    • ad-hoc volunteers;
    • artists / speakers / exhibitors;
    • participants.
  2. The nature of involvement in each role is defined in the relevant application forms.
  3. In order to participate in the Festival, participants should submit the appropriate application form or register at the check-in point during the Festival.
  4. The minimum age for participation is 18. The Organizer reserves the right to verify identity and age by checking an identity document.
  5. Participation in the Festival is free of charge. The Festival is a non-profit event co-funded from public funds.

§3. Catering and Accommodation

  1. Volunteer co-organizers and people contributing to the programme are provided by the Organizer with accommodation (if needed) and meals.
  2. The Organizer does not provide accommodation or meals for Festival participants, nor, as a rule, for ad-hoc volunteers. 

§4. Programme

  1. The Festival programme consists of lectures, workshops, and larps, as well as events at NGO stands and in creative spaces.
  2. Lectures may last 20, 40, or 60 minutes; workshops 1 or 2 hours; and larps 3, 4, 5, or 6 hours. NGO stands and creative spaces are continuous events.
  3. The number of places for some parts of the program is limited and requires prior registration. Registration for individual events will begin after the final version of the program has been published. Participants may choose the program items in which they wish to take part. In the event of an excessive number of participants, the Organizer reserves the right to allocate places in accordance with the principles of equality and fairness. 
  4. At the festival there are no fees for participating in any part of the program.

§5. Community

  1. The Festival has a Discord server::https://discord.gg/UdB4aJeyeQ, which is used for communication and integration of people participating in various roles. 
  2. The Festival does not have separate social media accounts. Updates and coverage can be found on the Europe4Youth Association’s channels (Facebook, Instagram) and on the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/85213193108299. https://www.facebook.com/events/852131931082994
  3. The Festival is family-friendly: a children’s room is available at the Podgórze Culture Centre. Children may stay there under the supervision of their parents or legal guardians. Parents are encouraged to participate in larps and to share childcare responsibilities. The Organizers are not responsible for children.

§6. Festival Profile

  1. The My Po!nt Festival is a space for expression and civic engagement for all people, with particular attention to LGBTQIA+ individuals. 
  2. The tools for expressing needs, opinions, concerns, and expectations will include larps (Live Action Role Playing) and an open artistic space.
  3. By registering, all participants declare acceptance of the values underpinning the Festival. In the event of violations of these values, the Organizers reserve the right to take proportionate action. 
  4. Various social research activities will be conducted during the Festival (more information is available on the project website: https://www.larpocracy.eu/about). Participation is entirely voluntary, and each participant will be asked to provide consent. 

§7. Prohibitions and Restrictions

  1. Smoking cigarettes and e-cigarettes, consumption of alcohol and being under its influence are prohibited on the Festival premises. The use of drugs and being under their influence are also prohibited. Bringing or possessing weapons or other dangerous items is strictly forbidden. Any acts of violence, discrimination, or violations of the Festival’s values will result in a proportionate response by the Organizers.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to remove from the Festival premises any person who violates the provisions of these Regulations, including the prohibitions and restrictions set out in this section.
  3. All festival participants are required to comply with the regulations of the Centrum Kultury Podgórza: https://www.ckpodgorza.pl/plik-do-pobrania/2306- the venue of the event. 
  4. No sales are carried out during the festival.

 

§8. Final Provisions

  1. Matters not regulated by these Regulations shall be governed by Polish law. 
  2. Participation in the My Po!nt Festival constitutes full acceptance of these Regulations.


GDPR Clause
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR), we hereby inform you that the controller of personal data is the Europe4Youth and LarpVenture. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of publishing photographs in accordance with the consent you have given. The processing of your personal data is based on your consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Your data may be shared with data processors acting on our behalf, such as hosting service providers, social media platforms, etc. Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
